Founded in 2007 eCommera is a UK-based provider of e-commerce services and consultancy to the retail industry. eCommera serves over 20 major retailers - including Asda, House of Fraser, Goldsmiths and Space NK - and employs more than 70 people.
eCommera’s CoreTrader service is an analytical dashboard that helps retailers understand what the drivers of profit and growth are for their online commerce operations. The eCommera CoreCommerce Platform is an e-commerce trading platform, delivered as Software as a Service, that enables retailers to act on that insight and build profitable ecommerce operations. Alongside the core technology platforms, eCommera also provides associated online retail consulting services via a team of e-commerce experts. This position has been created to meet customer demand.
The Web Analyst will provide eCommera customers with analytics support to help them prioritise areas of focus and make well informed decisions to profitably grow their eCommerce business. You will play an important role in the development of the eCommera CoreTrader dashboard and associated diagnostic and simulation tools.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day to day web analytic support for nominated retailers.
- Complete analysis which provides clear, concise, action oriented recommendations.
- Assist with the development of eCommera analytics tools.
- Provide ad-hoc training to nominated clients for Coremetrics / Google Analytics and eCommera analytic tools.
- Work with nominated customers transforming their web analytics data into insightful and actionable recommendations.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong drive for results – ability to get things done independently with minimum direction.
- Customer focus – providing high levels of service to customers.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform both quantitative and qualitative based data analysis.
- 3 years experience of web analytics tools including implementation and testing techniques.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into well structured and simple to understand presentations and recommendations.
- Good Excel knowledge and experience creating reporting and dashboards.
- Degree educated ideally business management including statistics, mathematics.
- Awareness of online marketing disciplines and how they contribute to customer acquisition, conversion and retention.
- Previous consulting experience would be an advantage.
